Overview:
In the past 20 years, Sarsen Stoves have installed hundreds of stoves. Listed below are a few case studies of work carried out by our experienced team.Thanks for looking!
Location 1 -
Behind most fireplaces is a larger opening. We can remove the fire surround and stone slips before enlarging to the original structural opening. This is an example from a fairly modern house;
Location 2 -
The Charnwood 4 is one of our biggest selling stoves. The rustic surround is from handmade brick, slate and oak.
Location 3 -
This stove is fitted in a converted outhouse that had no existing chimney.
Location 4 -
The old Parkray solid fuel boiler was replaced with a new Woodwarm. We had to make slight changes to the heating system to suit the new appliance. We can design and install complete heating and hot water sytems.
Location 5 -
Another example of a stove fitting into the original constructional opening. The cherry picker is an invaluable tool - it saves having to climb on a roof and can reach awkward chimney stacks.
Location 6 -
Inglenooks can lead to a constant huge heat loss - a stove will stop this even when it's not in use. There was a lot of excavation involved in this fitting. The stove is a striking Almond coloured Charnwood Island I;
Location 7 -
This customer had a gas fire built into the wall of their newish home. We work with customers to design their installation. In this case this meant building a new chimney breast with a rustic shelf and reclaimed brick hearth. The stove is a Clearview vision - 8kw - one of our biggest selling medium sized stoves;
Location 8 -
Some customers wish to maintain an open fire feel. Products such as Jetmaster convector boxes (shown here) offer greatly improved efficiency over more traditional open fires;
Location 9 -
Another option is one of the fireplace appliances from Dovre, Jotul or ACR. This one is an ACR Nordpeis N22;
