The RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) is a government subsidy, that pays the end user an annual amount based on the EPC (energy performance certificate) of the dwelling. If you have an EPC you can find the information on the KW hour requirements here. Click the button and when prompted enter your post code, download the EPC and enter the KW hour requirements for heating and domestic hot water. Fill in the form to calculate the estimated annual payments.
The Smart Fire 11 is the smallest output of the Smart Fire series. Ranging from 3 KWs – 10.2 KWs this appliance is suitable for the smaller domestic property.
Although small in stature and output, this appliance boasts all of the technology of the larger appliances with touch screen control, automatic flue way cleaning and optional external ash collection assuring minimal user input.
This appliance can control as standard two heating systems with full weather compensation plus hot water. Add a further module to increase this to 4 heating systems. The optional Lambda sensor allows for monitoring of the combustion process, and with the addition of a small web server the Smart Fire 11 can be controlled remotely from any where, with a PC, tablet or smart phone.
The build quality is exceptional with high quality tested components assuring a long and trouble-free life.
Unlike other manufacturers, the Smart Fire uses a Stainless steel burner. This ensures the life-span is longer than others that use inferior burners prone to breaking down and require replacement more often.
The burner is cleaned automatically during the ignition process, which reduces user input and allows for longevity between service calls.
All Smart Fire boilers utilise a cast iron rotary sluice, which creates a mechanical separation from the fuel storage and the combustion chamber ensuring that heat transfer from the ignited fuel will not transfer into the fuel hopper.
A heat sensor continuously monitors the fuel supply, extinguishing the boiler in the unlikely event of temperature increase.
The touch screen on all Smart Fire boilers is intuitive with easy to read displays. It controls all aspects of the boiler settings and heating system. Setting the fuel levels allows for visual and audible warning of re-fuelling requirements.
With a small discreet optional module, remote access from anywhere is possible. Turn the appliance on or off, alter schedules and monitor appliance operation.
